Conectados Pela Vida (Green Crescent Brazil) and the International Federation of Green Crescent (IFGC) shared their experiences in prevention programs during the XXVIII IFGC ABEAD International Congress, held in Rio de Janeiro on 10–13 September 2025.
The congress, the main scientific meeting addressing chemical and behavioral addictions, brought together national and international experts from public institutions, academia, NGOs, and health and social sectors. This year’s theme focused on “Routes and Challenges in Prevention and Treatment: Navigating Contemporary Addictions.”
During the congress, the session “Prevention Actions: International NGO Experiences,” moderated by Alexandre Kieslich Da Silva, President of Conectados Pela Vida, featured a presentation on “Effective Prevention Programs of Green Crescent.” We thank the ABEAD Board, Conectados Pela Vida, and all organizing teams for their collaboration.
